Finding things to stare at: Audrey Hepburn & her pet fawn Pippin

These prints of Audrey Hepburn and her pet fawn (named Pippin) was a real find, I somehow came by them on Etsy.com, and I'm in love with them... Sad to say the prints are sold, but to be honest i'm just as happy to have seen them, even if not in their full glory.

It's always been curious to me how classic movie actresses such as Hepburn managed to keep their elegance, beauty and poise in almost any situation, it's hard to find that with modern actresses... Well, that's an opinion anyway: you can start paying attention again.

It turns out she had this pet faun in 1958 -1959, around the time of filming Green Mansions, these images document her home relationship with Pippin, and even out shopping! It's just a great peek into some of the more surreal aspects of popular culture around the time, maybe it's very well known, but it's new to me, and I like it. I want a Fawn now.
